Construction
The body panels of the Rancilio Classe 10 are constructed of sturdy aluminum. The machine measures 30.7"W X 21.2"D X 20.8"H and weighs 201 pounds.

USB Interface
The Rancilio Classe 10 USB comes with an on-board computer and digital 240 x 64 pixel display, combined with new USB interface which allows a greater exchange of information than ever before. With a simple USB disk drive, it’s possible to copy and transfer setting from one machine to another.
USB Options Include:
•    Two personalized logos can be programmed into the display
•    The Classe 10 can be programmed by using the weekly calendar mode to turn on and off at desired times
•    iSteam auto-shutoff steam wand
•    In addition to the expanded pre-infusion chamber, there is an optional programmable pre-infusion to customize the pour for individual espresso roasts and blends. Both the pre-infusion time and dwell time can be controlled, or disabled if desired.

Clever Steam Valve
The machine comes equipped with ‘Clever’ steam valve. It allows the barista to steam milk effortlessly without rotating any knobs. The ‘Clever’ has an ergonomic handle specially constructed for ease of use in multiple positions.

Patented iSteam Automatic Milk Frothing
Rancilio's revolutionary, completely automatic iSteam wand is available as an option with the Classe 10 USB. It replaces the steam wand on the left side. This automatic steam wand allows milk to be frothed and heated using a mix of steam and air resulting in smooth and velvety layer of crema. The innovative water system of the machine makes it the fastest steam wand on the market (500 cc from 10 degrees Celsius to 65 degrees Celsius in 30 seconds). All you have to do is simply choose either the steamed (latte) button or frothed (cappuccino) on the control panel and the machine does the rest. The iSteam demands low maintenance and purges itself to reduce cleaning.

ABM - Advanced Boiler Management Feature
The ABM (active boiler management) is one of the many features that make the Rancilio Classe 10 “best in class". It provides electronic control over the boiler and water system within the espresso machine. Specifically designed software enhances the functioning of machine by switching on the heating element concurrently with the brewing of espresso, or the frothing or steaming of milk.

Hot Water
The Classe 10 has 2 independent water dispensers. One delivers near boiling water for tea and other applications. The second is one of the Rancilio's newest inventions called the 4-TEA. It's a hot -water dispenser that heats fresh cold water with steam. You will find 4 programmable settings for temperature output since different water temperatures suite different teas. Press “T0” and get 203 degree F water suitable for black teas; “T1" to get 185 degree F water for Herbal and Fruit teas; “T2" for 158 degree F water that is best suited for Chinese green teas; and "T3" which provides 140 degree (Fahrenheit) water- best for Japanese green teas. Hot and cold water are mixed electronically to obtain the right temperature for your menu, and stop automatically when the programmed dosage has been reached.

V-FLEX
V-FLEX is a self-adapting system discovered to harmonize the operating voltage of your Classe 10 with voltage variations in the main power supply. V-flex eliminates the fluctuation in the supplied voltage and avoids installation errors. Machines equipped with V-flex also feature an advanced diagnostics function known as Easy- Fix, allowing the technician to easily trace any technical problem and solve it quickly.

Plug & Brew
The Rancilio Classe 10’s new ‘plug and brew’ feature reduces programming time since you can simply plug into the onboard computer and upload your brew settings. This function also makes sure that each machine's brewing cycles are consistent in your cafe.

Cup Warmer
Espresso tastes its best when it is brewed into a pre-heated cup – this preserves the temperature and the crema. The machine has an electric cup warmer with 3 adjustable temperature settings which can be turned off as desired.
