The machine uses an advanced automatic brew group. It accepts freshly ground coffee from the built-in coffee grinder, tamps the coffee perfectly, pre-soaks the grounds with a special ‘pre-infusion’ step, brews the coffee, and then dumps the used coffee grounds into the internal dump box. Once the brewing cycle has been completed, it resets itself for the next cup of coffee. You can create a coffee bar in your home or office without taking a lot of counter space because the Master 5000 Digital is compact and easily tucks under most overhead cabinets. The machine incorporates a number of practical features- built-in grinder with 18 grind settings, pre-infusion system, large water reservoir, adjustable coffee dispensing spout and optional milk froth-enhancing tip.

Features
Construction
The exterior of the Solis Master 5000 Digital espresso machine is made of sturdy plastic. The unit comes equipped with a durable 1250-watt boiler and 15 BAR pump that delivers enough pressure to pull the maximum flavor and aroma from the coffee beans. The machine measures 15"H x 14.5"W x 15"D and weighs 20 pounds.
LCD Screen
The LCD display shows in one of 6 available languages the status of the machine and shows how you can get the coffee of your choice. It will let you know when to add water, add beans, when to decalcify, if the dump box is full, if the brew group is inserted incorrectly, if the cleaning is necessary and more. A myriad collection of indicator lights makes it simpler to understand what’s going on with your machine.
Programming Volume
No wonder the Solis Master 5000 Digital is called super! You can set the machine to brew coffee, large coffee and espresso with the help of 3 different brewing buttons. Simply press the corresponding button and the machine will automatically grind, tamp, and extract the coffee to your desired taste. Depending on the size of the coffee, brewing can take only 35 seconds. Press the button twice and the machine automatically sets up to brew two shots.
Crema Coffee Center
Simply make a small adjustment to the coffee grinder to make the coffee grounds coarser – this allows the water to flow more freely through the coffee grounds as required for café crema. The result is a superbly aromatic and crema-topped brew.
Professional Conical Burr Grinder
It features a high quality built-in conical burr grinder. Once you push the brew button, the grinder automatically begins grinding the exact amount of coffee beans needed. Conical burr grinders are admired for their precise, consistent and quiet grind. The grinder offers 18 adjustable grind settings -1(fine) up to 18 (coarse), allowing you to accommodate for various types of espresso drinks. The built-in coffee bean hopper holds 10.5 oz of coffee beans and its tight plastic lid keeps the coffee beans fresh.
Pre-grinding Cycle
The Master 5000 Digital has a convenient pre-grinding cycle that will allow you to set the machine to pre-grind after your last coffee extraction. This ensures the machine is ready for the next person without going through the grind cycle. You can turn it on or off in the programming menu.
Pre-Infusion System
Pre-infusion system ensures the best flavor. The two-step pre-infusion cycle moistens and conditions the ground coffee, which maximizes flavor extraction to increase the thick crema on your espresso. The machine accomplishes this by infusing (or presoaking) the fresh coffee grounds with a dash of hot water for two seconds. Thereafter, it completes the brewing process by infusing the remainder of the predetermined water through the coffee grounds and the outcome is a superior cup of espresso.
Steaming and Frothing
The Solis Master 5000 Digital is equipped with a stainless steel steam wand and optional milk froth-aid tip to create loads of foam for cappuccinos and lattes with hardly any effort on your part. The steam wand is conveniently located on the right front of the machine on a swivel joint to accommodate frothing pitchers ranging from 12 oz. to 20 oz. in size.
Hot Water
The Solis Master 5000 Digital comes with an instant hot water feature to make tea, americano, hot chocolate or soup. Turn the steam/hot water knob on the right side of the machine, and hot water will dispense from the steam wand.
Adjustable Coffee Dispensing Spout
The coffee dispensing spout moves up or down from 3 to 4 inches to accept many cup sizes, so you can brew into small espresso cups or large latte cups with no splashing. To ensure great-tasting coffee forever, remove the dispensing spout and clean it with hot water about once a month.
Cup Storage
Cup storage area with cover sits on the top of the Master 5000 with room for several espresso or coffee cups.
Removable Water Reservoir
The removable water tank, made of clear tinted ABS plastic holds 1.8 liter of water. It has an easy grip handle to make removal easy.
Removable Brew Group
The brew group is easy to remove. Just open the side door and remove with the thumb release lever. This gives access to everything that touches the coffee when it goes through the brew cycle, including the removable screens. Clean it once a week – just remove and rinse with warm water.
Internal Coffee Grounds Waste Box, Drip Tray and Cover
The machine can brew up to 20 cups of coffee or espresso before the internal coffee grounds waste box must be emptied. The dump box slides out of the left side of the machine. The machine will let you know when the dump box needs to be emptied. The drip tray has a water level indicator so you know when it’s time to empty and clean the drip tray and cover.
Energy Saving Mode
Program the energy saving mode to automatically turn on whenever you desire. This will shut the boiler down but keep the controls on and ready.

The Solis Master 5000 Digital comes with a detailed instruction manual, brew system maintenance tool, water hardness test kit, cleaning brush and cleaning tablets.
