Features
Simple Controls The innovative control panel located on the front of the Saeco Odea Giro II lets you set the size and strength of your espresso. The main button on the panel is the brewing button, located in the center and featuring the icon of a coffee cup. The coffee strength button is located below that, with the icon of 3 coffee beans. Around these 2 buttons is the silver liquid volume control knob, and to the right of the knob is the hot water button. The steam wand is easily controlled by a knob located on the top left of the machine.
Straightforward Brewing Brewing espresso on the Saeco Odea Giro II takes just a few moments. Simply set the size of your desired drink using the silver volume selector knob and then choose your coffee strength by pressing the respective button once for mild, twice for medium, and three times for a strong coffee. When you’re ready to brew, just press the brew button once for 1 coffee, or twice for 2 coffees.
Stainless Steel Boiler and Rapid Steam There’s no need to worry about downtime between brewing and steaming with the Odea Giro II. With a powerful 1200 watt stainless steel boiler, as well as a separate Rapid Steam system dedicated to create steam for frothing milk, you can make drink after drink for you and your friends.
Hot Water Dispenser The steam wand on the Saeco Odea Giro II doubles as a hot water dispenser so you can make tea, hot cocoa or instant soup. To dispense hot water, just press the hot water button on the right side of the control panel, and then turn the silver steam/hot water knob on the top left side of the machine. Hot water will be dispensed right from the steam wand tip.
Special Pre-infusion Brew System Cycle Pre-infusion allows you to get maximum flavor from the brewing process. This advanced function takes the newly ground coffee beans from the internal coffee grinder and correctly tamps the coffee. Through “pre-infusion”, the grounds are pre-soaked and then brewed before being discarded automatically into the internal waste box. The machine then resets itself for the next brewing cycle.
Ceramic Burr Grinder The Saeco Odea Giro II features an innovative ceramic burr grinder. This grinder gives you an even grind, which results in finer dosing and blending. And, because the grinder is ceramic, it is long lasting and considerably quieter than other grinders available in the market.
Easy Frothing Thanks to the Pannarello attachment on the steam wand. The Pannarello frothing device dispenses steam in 3 different directions and makes it easy to froth milk for lattes and cappuccinos. It also dispenses hot water for americanos, teas and hot chocolate, and is completely removable for quick cleaning.
Adjustable Drip Tray The drip tray on the Odea Giro II can be manually moved up or down, so you can brew into small espresso cups or taller latte glasses. This drip tray can also be removed for easy cleaning.
Wheel Base The Saeco Odea Giro II has been conveniently outfitted with a wheel base. This base allows you to easily move it across your counter top without having to lift it.
Removable Reservoir, Dump Box and Brew Group Cleaning is made even simpler by the removable components on the Saeco Odea Giro II. The water reservoir [capacity 50 ounce], dump box, and even the brew group can be removed for cleaning.
A powerful pump Delivering a maximum pressure of 15 bars, this on board water pump pulls the maximum flavor from the coffee beans
Accessories The Odea Giro II comes with a detailed instruction manual, grinder adjustment key, and cleaning brush.
