So no matter whether you're selecting coffee strength, adjusting the amount of water or giving your coffee specialties their own names, the rotary switch literally reduces everything to a twist of your wrist.
Simply press the dedicated cappuccino button and the Jura Impressa Z7 will begin frothing and/or steaming your milk, grind, tamp, and brew. It automatically siphons milk from the included 32 ounce insulated thermal milk container, combines it with hot steam and delivers hot, frothed milk into your Cappuccino cups. Turn the dial to the latte setting, and the automatic frother will deliver hot steamed milk with very little or no froth for that delicious Latte.

Active Bean Management
The Jura IMPRESSA Z7 puts an end to the sound of empty coffee grinders and half-empty coffee cups once and for all because it tells you in good time when you need to refill the bean container. And it's all made possible by an innovation from JURA: the amount of beans in the container is monitored constantly and as soon as they drop below a minimum level an alert appears on the display.

Jura Impressa Z7 Web Pilot is the all-in-one recipe, programming, customer service and statistics manager. It permits straightforward programming and analysis of IMPRESSA Z7 models.

Expansive Live Visual Programming
With the Jura Impressa Z7, you can visually program it to remember all of your favourite cup sizes. Jura Impressa Z7 can be programmed to remember your cup size by placing it under the nozzle and filling in the required quantity. You can set your espresso volume and the Jura Impressa Z7 will produce your favourite size drink every time. The Rotary Dial is used to override the programming without fear of losing the favourite settings; the Jura Impressa Z7 will revert back on the next brew. This innovative programming feature works on all of the Jura Impressa Z7's beverage buttons.

Power and Performance at Your Fingertips
At the heart of the Jura Impressa Z7 are DUAL stainless steel-lined ThermoBlock boilers. Unlike a traditional boiler, ThermoBlocks offer rapid warm-up times paired with efficient, on-demand water usage. Turn on the Jura Impressa Z7, and it will be ready to brew AND steam in just a few moments. ThermoBlock technology channels the water through the heating element while minimizing the amount of water heated to what the Z7s user demands. This process ensures water does not become stale sitting in a boiler for an extended period of time. Because the Jura Impressa Z7 has two heating elements, your days of waiting between brewing espresso and frothing milk are over. Jura Impressa’s  built this machine to be a workhorse, and the Jura Z7 is in fact rated for light commercial use, meaning you can run it hard without the fear of wearing it out.

When it comes to accommodations, bigger is always better, and the Jura Impressa Z7 does not disappoint. The Jura Z7's height-adjustable coffee spout interchangeable dual-nozzles allow you to brew into anything from small espresso cups to your favourite 16 ounce travel mug without spilling. A 96 ounce water tank and 10 ounce bean hopper ensure that you can prepare far more than just a couple beverages before refilling. The automatic bypass doser for pre-ground coffee provides the user a hassle-free method to quickly change to a different flavor or decaffeinated. The Jura Z7 automatically rinses itself upon start-up to prevent that dreaded cold first shot of the day. An LED illuminated brewing surface adds an extra touch of elegance proving again that style and function need not be separated. And an 8-week backup battery for the memory ensures that your clock and Auto-On feature are not reset due to an unexpected power outage.

Ecological Intelligence –Power saver mode
Do want your drinks ready for you at any random moment but do not want to waste electricity? Activate the Jura Impressa Z7's Energy Save Mode to lower the temperature of the unit without completely turning it off. Just as the Jura Z7 has two heating elements, it also has two energy saving settings: one to turn off the heating element for steam only, and one to also lower the temperature of the ThermoBlock for coffee. The first setting is perfect when you need espresso all day long but seldom require lattes or other milk beverages. The second energy saving setting is great when you will have more intervals between brewing espresso drinks.

Intelligent Pre Brew Aroma System (I.P.B.A.S.)
The unique two step pre-infusion cycle moistens and conditions the ground coffee, which means maximum flavour extraction with perfect crema topping. With the Jura Impressa Z7 you can brew one to sixteen ounce cups of coffee in five strength settings. It grinds from 5 to a maximum of 16 grams of coffee from extra mild to extra strong. The Jura Impressa Z7 will automatically discard up to 16 pucks (used coffee portions) before its puck container gets full.

Integrated Pure Water System (I.P.W.S.)
The advanced Clearyl filtration system prevents water impurities from entering sensitive areas of the machine, causing damage, and altering the taste of the coffee produced. A change filter message will be displayed when it is time to replace the cartridge (about every 8-12 weeks or 20 gallons). The Jura Impressa Z7 will also prompt you when it is time to clean the machine, so proper maintenance is a breeze.
