Twin Boiler The Gaggia Baby Twin is a unique semi-automatic machine because it has 2 boilers, 1 for brewing and 1 for steaming. A 2-boiler system lets you go right from brewing to steaming with no down time, so you can make cappuccinos, lattes, and other milk drinks instantly.
Touch Ring Control Panel The Gaggia Baby Twin features a touch ring control panel with green backlit buttons. From left to right, they are small and large programmable brewing buttons, hot water, a steam supply light, manual dispensing/programming, and at the bottom of the ring is the temperature indicator light that will let you know when the Baby Twin is ready to brew or steam. This innovative new control panel gives this machine a sleek and trendy look.
Commercial Style Portafilter and Brew Group The Gaggia Baby Twin has a commercial style, 58mm portafilter made of chrome-plated marine brass. The group head is also made of chrome-plated brass for excellent heat stability and durability.
Coffee Pre-infusion To get the real flavor of espresso, the Gaggia Baby Twin features a pre-infusion cycle. This soaks the grounds a few seconds before the brewing process begins, helping to bring out the ground coffee’s aromatic oils and resulting in a more flavorful shot. You can turn this feature on and off while in programming mode.
Three-way Solenoid ValveThe Gaggia Baby Twin features a three-way solenoid valve that relieves pressure from the portafilter once your shot has been brewed. This results in a drier espresso puck and easier disposal.
Hot Water Dispenser The Gaggia Baby twin can instantly dispense hot water for tea, hot chocolate, or soup. Simply press the hot water button on the control panel, turn the black knob on the top of the machine, and then turn the knob back once the desired amount of water has been reached.

Removable Water Reservoir and Drip TrayThe Gaggia Baby Twin has a large water reservoir made of durable, clear plastic. With a capacity of 60 oz, you can brew almost 30 shots of espresso before having to refill. The reservoir is also removable for easy filling and cleaning.
The Baby Twin also features a removable drip tray. This lets you easily dump and clean the tray right in the sink using warm water and non-abrasive detergent.
ESE Pod CapableTo make brewing easy, the Gaggia Baby Twin is ready to brew using ESE pods. These pre-packaged, pre-measured, and pre-tamped pods eliminate the need for a grinder or tamper. Just use the included ESE pod filter basket to brew.
Active Cup WarmerProperly heated cups help to maintain the flavor of your espresso. The Baby Twin features an active cup warmer with enough room for 5 of your favorite espresso cups. It is electrically heated, rather than being heating by residual heat from the boiler, ensuring a consistent temperature for your cups.
