Innovative Burr Calibration System
The range of grind and the accuracy of the settings are truly exciting.  The Baratza Virtuoso Burr Grinder comes with 40 distinct settings of grind from Espresso to French Press.  An innovative calibration system virtually eliminates grind variation and ensures identical performance from each grinder.

Efficient Motor
The powerful, high torque 480 watt DC motor effortlessly drives the burrs.  This motor turns slowly resulting in quieter operation and permits long grinding duty-cycles.  The circuitry is equipped with an automatically resetting, thermal cutoff switch.

Unique Speed Control
The Baratza Virtuoso Burr Grinder uses a combination of gear and electronic speed reduction to control the rotation of the burr to 450 RPM. The electronic speed controller is adjustable from 405 to 495 RPM. The slow speed reduces heat, noise, and static generation in the grinder. It also makes sure that the beans feed smoothly into the burrs. 

Superior Anti-static
The Virtuoso boasts an enhanced anti-static design, which minimizes messy coffee dust. With this feature, the Baratza Virtuoso burr grinder has set a new standard for minimal coffee dust in this class of coffee grinder.

Timers Switch and Pulse Button
The Baratza Virtuoso Burr Grinder has a sixty second timer, with segmented graphics, for easily repeatable grind times. It also has a front mounted pulse button that manually controls the on/off function.  This is a good option if you wish to grind a small amount of coffee for espresso.

Bean Hopper
The bean hopper {capacity 8oz} can be rotated for easy grind adjustment.

Attractive Top Casting
The additional weight of the top casting increases the stability of the grinder. It also provides further sound and vibration isolation making for a quiet and smooth-functioning coffee grinder.

Easy to Clean
To clean the Baratza Virtuoso Burr Grinder, just remove the coffee bean hopper to expose the grinding chamber.  At this point the outer ring burr simply lifts out.  The entire grinding chamber can then be thoroughly cleaned in a few minutes
