iDrinkCoffee.com Recommended Best Buy

Products bearing the iDrinkCoffee.com recommended best buy badge are products that have been thoroughly tested by iDrinkCoffee.com staff to meet our demanding expectations.  These badges are awarded to only one or two products in a given product and price category.  Products awarded our recommendation provide a exceptional value and in our opinion are the best buy in a given product category.

Currently our recommended best buys are:

Semi-Automatic

Lelit PL41EM at $499.95 - The features found in this machine are impossible to find in this price range.  It has a brass boiler, an extraction pressure gauge, a polished stainless steel body and a three way solenoid valve.  The value is exceptional.

Rancilio Silvia V3 at $714.95 - The Silvia is the best selling machine on our site and with good reason.  It is the long established standard as the first "serious" machine most people buy.

Bezzera BZ07 at $1295.95 - Bezzera is one of the oldest espresso machine manufacturers in Italy.  The BZ07 is exceptionally well made and one of the lowest priced heat exchangers on the market.  The body is nickel plated chrome and it has a generous 1.5 litre copper boiler and a Ma-ter pressure stat.  This machine is a great in between choice or a choice for someone who wants to get into a heat exchanger for a reasonable price.

Rocket Giotto Premium Plus at $1799 - Rocket is one of our favourite manufacuters at iDrinkCoffee.com.  Their machines combine beauty and function to provide in our opinion the best E61 value on the market.

Super-Automatic

Saeco Odea Giro Plus at $949.95 - Saeco is synonymous with super-automatic espresso machines and the Giro Plus offers updated looks and a wealth of features including Rapid Steam and opti-dose.

Jura ENA 5 at $1395 - The Jura ENA series are the slimmest espresso machines on the market.  The ENA has a digital display, programmable dosing, a bypass doser and automatic milk frothing.

Jura C9 One Touch at $2195 - The C9 is a cappuccino lovers dream, it is capable of producing milk based beverages at the touch of a single button.  It will siphon milk from a thermal milk container (included), froth it and extract your espresso all at the touch of a button.  It is one of the best sellers in this range and for very good reason.

Grinders

Capresso Infinity at $129.95 - The Infinity is one of our best selling grinders.  With conical burrs and easy operation it is a perfect choice for drip coffee, french presses or vacuum pots.

Rancilio Rocky at $384.95 - Just like the Silvia, the Rancilio Rocky has been a mainstay on the espresso scene for a number of years.  This heavyweight weighs in at over 15 lbs and is capable of producing the very fine grinds needed for espresso preparation.

Compak K3 Touch at $499.95 - The Compak K3 is in our opinion one of the best dollar for dollar grinders on the market.  This grinder has stepless adjustment and produces a very consistent and "fluffy" grind.

Coffee Machines

Technivorm KBT 741 at $299.95 - Temperature is the most important variable when extracting drip coffee and the Technivorm is certified by the Specialty Coffee Association of America to brew at the ideal temperature.  The overwhelming majority of brewers on the market brew coffee at a temperature that is too low to get a proper extraction.
